• Game Analysis
The object of the game is for the player to achieve a higher Pai Gow hand than the dealer, and in the process win bonus money based on their first three cards and their best five cards out of seven cards.
RULES
A single standard deck of playing cards with the Joker will be used in dealing Pai Gow Mania®.  A-2-3-4-5 will be the second highest straight.

Players may use the Joker as an Ace or to complete a straight, flush, and straight flush to form their Pai Gow hand and their  bonus hands.

To start the game, each player must make a Pai Gow bet by placing a wager in the circle marked Mania.  Bonus bets are optional and must be placed at the start of each game. Both the player and the dealer will be dealt three consecutive cards face down.

After viewing their cards, players that have a qualifying three-card bonus hand will place their cards face up on the table.  The dealer will award each of those players their bonus listed on the three-card bonus pay table below. The dealer will collect all non-winning three-card bonus bets.

No three-card bonus claims will be allowed once the next round of cards are dealt.

After all three-card bonus bets are settled, each player and the dealer will be dealt four more consecutive cards face down to complete their Pai Gow hand. As in the traditional game of Pai Gow, players make a five-card hand that is higher than their two-card hand. Players will place their five-card high hand and their two-card low hand face down on the appropriate spots marked on the layout. The dealer will arrange his cards forming a five-card high hand and a two-card low hand.

Players hands are then compared to the dealer's hands.  Should a player win both the high hand and the low hand, they are paid even money less a 5% commission.  Should a player lose both hands their wagers will be collected by the dealer. Should a player win one hand and lose the other hand, this will result in a push, no winners, thus no money is exchanged.   A tie on either the high hand or low hand will result in a loss of that hand for the player.

The dealer will collect all non-winning seven card bonus bets. Players that have a qualifying bonus hand using their best five cards out of seven cards will be paid according to the following Pai Gow bonus schedule.
